Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FTMP ("we", "us", the "App") handles information when you use the App. FTMP is designed to work primarily offline and to collect as little data as possible.

1. Information we do not require

You do not need to create an account, provide your name, email, or any personal details to use the App. The core experience — quiz games, Football Alias, the Predictor, and browsing the offline database — runs entirely on your device.

2. Information processed on your device only

• App settings, game progress, XP, achievements and streaks — stored locally on your device (via iOS settings storage). This never leaves your device unless you choose to use cloud team sharing (below).
• My Team data you create (team name, players, games, optional photos) — stored locally by default.

3. Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used (e.g. which screens and features are opened, purchase funnel events) so we can improve it. This may include app usage data and device/technical identifiers generated by Firebase. We do not use this data to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). We do not serve ads.

4. Cloud team sharing (optional)

If you create a live (Admin) team or join a team with a code in "My Team", the App uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore and Storage):

• Anonymous authentication assigns your device a random identifier (UID) so the team you own can be edited only from your device. This is not linked to your identity.
• The team content you choose to share (team name, players, games, and any photos you add) is uploaded so people with your code can view it.

Do not upload photos or information you are not permitted to share. Content shared this way is accessible to anyone who has the team code.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive your entitlement status (whether Pro is active) from Apple to unlock features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

6. Third parties

• Apple — App Store purchases and subscription management (Apple Privacy Policy).
• Google / Firebase — analytics and optional cloud team sharing (Firebase Privacy).

7. Data retention & deletion

Local data stays on your device until you delete it (Settings → Reset, or delete the App). For cloud-shared teams, you can leave or delete a team from within the App to remove your device's association and stop sharing. To request deletion of cloud team data associated with your device, email support@ftmpapp.app and we will delete it.

8. Children

FTMP is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
